​Marina started her martial arts journey in September 1989 with traditional Jiu-Jitsu. Two years later Filipino Martial Arts appear into her life and since 1991 she has continued to study FMA. She opened her first school in 2009 (Kombatan Göteborg IF) and in 2014 she opened her second school for her studies in Pentjak silat (an Indonesian martial arts). Since teenage she has been dedicated many hours, days and years into martial arts and achieved black belt grades in Kombatan Arnis, Kali Sikaran and Jiu-Jitsu. In the year of 2005 in Los Angles she attained the title of world champion in Daga fighting (WEKAF). For her it’s always been important to keep a beginner’s eyes and curiosity.
