Tomi started his martial arts journey in 1994 after he stopped playing ice hockey. Tomi tried a few Martial Arts styles until he found the Korean Sin Moo Hapkido. In his time, Tomi completed 2 Dan belt in Sin Moo Hapkido. 1998 Tomi practiced Filipino Martial Arts for the first time. 2001 Tomi met Late GGM Ernesto Presas Sr. for the first time and it changed Tomi's life a lot. Since then, Tomi has been practicing and teaching Kombatan every day. Kombatan is not a hobby or a job for Tomi, it's a way of life for him and his family.
